Clubhouse update...

Clubhouse UPDATE!

The girls and I are so excited about the clubhouse!!!

Scott has worked so hard in racing time to complete this project and the finish line is just around the corner!
The plan is for Scott to be finished with the building part by the first of June or before.
At that point the girls and I will start our projects which include painting and decorating and we are beside ourselves about that!  There are so many windows and doors that the light inside the clubhouse will be awesome!
We have plans to spend the night in it over the summer and do lots of art projects too!

This is the back side of the clubhouse.  We bought the door at Habitat and cut it in half to be a Dutch door.

The girls thought this was so cool!

Then Scott added two large windows.

In this picture you can see the large window we found at Habitat as well.

The windows crank out like old school!

We will paint the outside brown and gray like our house and the inside a light shade of pink of course!  I was thinking a blue ceiling would be pretty cool with glow in the dark stars!

Future plans are to build a small deck on the front side at the lake and a custom sandbox incorporated into the decking.

Once the clubhouse is complete inside/out the next big thing is my studio!  Plans are to build closer to the lake a larger similar structure with a large decking that floats out over the water bridging the island.  It will be a space that I can call my studio and Scott could retreat to as well to write songs and play his guitar or just sit with a glass of wine while the girls play in their clubhouse.  There will be so many options that we will be spending most of our time outside or in these spaces than in the house!

Good, maybe then I can keep the house clean and straight!
Probably not...

For whatever reason this post didn't get published as well...sorry!
