Artist Trading Cards are 2.5"
x 3.5" little pieces of art that can be traded with other artists or
framed as a work of art. The ATC movement developed out of the mail art
movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various
media, including pencils, pens, markers, watercolor, acrylic paints, collage,
paper-cuts, found objects, etc. or even metals or fiber. The cards are usually
traded or exchanged.
