This rescipe is an all time favorite for us at the Hart house. We fix it a lot with hamburgers, hot dogs or pulled pork. It makes a really tasty dish that's easy and every always loves!
1 bag of frozen hashbrowns
1 stick of butter (cut into pieces)
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
large can of fried onions
salt/pepper to taste
Defrost potatoes. Spray your cassarole dish with Pam before you pour the mixture in. Combine potatoes, half of butter, both cans of soup and half of the can of onions together in a mixing bowl. Pour mixture into cassarole dish. Top off with the rest of your onions and the rest of your butter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. After about 30 minutes check to make sure your onions are not burning. At this point I usually go ahead and put a piece of tin foil over it to make sure not to burn.
